In this construction video tutorial, Mike Haduck, the renowned masonry and consultant from USA, demonstrates some unique processes for estimating concrete for an area having 25 feet long, 4 feet wide and 5 inch deep.

If you follow manual process to find out the quantity, just multiply length x width x thickness.

We know length = 25 feet, width = 4 feet and thickness = 5 inch = 5/12 = 0.41666667 feet.

By multiplying them, we get = 25 x 4 x 0.41666667 = 41.666667 cubic feet.

To convert the volume to yard, just divide it with 27 i.e. 41.666667/24 = 1.54 yards.

But Larry shows you how to use different types of concrete calculator to find out the volume.

Concrete volume calculator can save your huge time to figure the amount of cubic yards or cubic meters of concrete as required for your project.

Just put all the necessary dimensions and modify the metric system if essential. It is suggested to always verify your thickness as soon as the dirt is graded.
